*CEUs are available. Community First Aid and Safety (Adult, Child, Infant, CPR & First Aid)* Description: This is an all-inclusive class offered in two sessions. Learn how to respond in an emergency with CPR for adults, children, and infants and to care for or respond to injuries, cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, sudden illness, and poisoning. Students wanting Adult CPR may attend the first session of class. Participant's manual is included. Back to Top Community CPR (Adult, Child, and Infant CPR)* Description: Learn how to respond in an emergency with CPR for adults, children, and infants. Participant's manual is included. Back to Top First Aid Basics* Description: Learn how to care for injuries and respond to cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, sudden illness, and poisoning. Participant's manual is included. Back to Top CPR for the Professional (CPR Pro)* Description:This course covers one and two-person CPR for adults, children, and infants. Students learn face mask and bag-valve mask skills and AED awareness. Recommended for nursing students. Hard-shell face mask and participant's manual included. Back to Top Preventing Disease Transmission (Blood-borne Pathogens)* Description: This class is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the intent of the Bloodborne Pathogens Regulation issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and also covers how disease transmission occurs, diseases of greatest concern, precautions to prevent disease transmission, and what to do if an exposure occurs. Participant's manual is included. Please bring your certification card and textbook; if needed new books are available for purchase.
