Here was a game that I should have never brought Comet to at all. The players were too serious, the scenario was all wrong, and it was just a bad idea.

The general idea of the game was a 'military campain' style, similar to "Command & Conquer" (the computer game). Each team had to get crystals on the field to buy special stuff. As it ended up, wearing the deersuit was inappropriate to this type of scenario. Hell, Bob Long snapped at me on the field of play partially because of it. But, that's showbiz. (And, from what I've been told, that's Bob...)

I was over-protective of the suit for most of the day, being a little too ginger with it. Not to mention it was just too bleedin' hot to be in flannel. In retrospect, I should have just worn the Tiger Stripes.Live and learn, however.

However, I have some bragging rights now. I played speedball against Bob Long, Fred Schults, and a lot of other celebs not only in a deer costume, but also with a "TALON". (Yes, a BRASS EAGLE $50 TALON!!!) Why? Why not? It was all in fun, and it was just being goofy. Hell, Kennedy played wiht a Nitro-Powered STINGRAY. Shives played with a STOCK CLASS PHANTOM. Kendrick... I don't remember WHAT he played with...

Side note : The second day I slid hard and pulled my pectoral muscle on the left side and sprained my ribs. Unfun indeed. As of now, I'm feeling much better...
