Just some things that I found, well, intresting. All are 'deer related', but not all are 'hunting'. As with all links everywhere, viewer discression is advised, 'cuz I'm not taking the heat if you don't like this stuff.

Humor

As good a place as any to start. Let's start with "Top Fox" Joe Ekaitis's work. He's got a really pointed, dare I say biting piece of deer 'humor' on his web page. You can go directly to the cartoon I'm talking about, or you can cruise his whole site. I recomend it, it's a wonderful place!

This snippet was on Rec.humor.funny. It's a deer hunters timeline that seems to mirror paintball, in a weird way...

Here's a company that makes deer repellant, but they have an interesting shirt that I was told would be 'hillarious', but it's not the "gut buster" I was hoping for. You may like it, tho.

If you're into Vampire, the Masquerade, and play a Malkavian, you may find this stuff funny. You'll have to go down a lot to get to the actual "Deer" refrences (#755), but it's intresting, to say the least. (Morbid, but intresting...)

Cultural

The "Dance of the Deer Foundation", a very informative site, and worth the trip to expand your mind and explore new ideas and concepts.

Wearables

A leather shop that I got a kick out of, specializing in deer-leather apparel

If you love something, set it free. If it loves you, it will come back.

Deernet : Your guide to getting a pet deer! I suppose, but not for everyone.

...and if it don't come back, hunt it down and kill it.

I'm not into "Real" hunting for sport value, but I will tolerate it because it's a backbone of society 'round here. Besides, hunters are almost as bad with stuff as paintballers are! :P

Buckmasters, a big name in hunting. They won't acknowledge the presence of "Comet", however. Oh well.

But, let's say you want to go hunt a small, defenseless animal. You can hire someone to show you the ropes of an area.

And after the trip, complete your manlyhood ritual and eat what you kill.

Oh, alright... that won't make me any friends among the hunting community. But, you know, if you can't laugh at your own hobbies you can't truly live. (I poke fun at paintball all the time... I mean, why else would I go in a deersuit and play?)

Non-animal Deerstuff

A hockey club, but worth a look, besides, it IS deer related... kinda...

A Bed & Breakfast, Deer Crossings is in Montana. A ways from me, but why not?

Deerfoot Lodge is closer, but I don't htink they include breakfast.

Paintballers

Applewhite, David Paintball Player. Deer hunter. It's all on his page. Believe it. (I'm on there too, actually...)

There's also Dave's Scent Delivery System, a gun being touted as a way to shoot a 'scent' for hunting, but it also shoots .68 cal paintballs as well and it can be used for "Home Defense"... that makes me worry... I'm thinking of getting htem to link to Comet's page, but I don't think they would...
