Hangin out at the bridge
"Troll Bridge?!?"
Paintball Games Inc. 10/31/98

Paintball Games Inc. put on a Halloween game, and I figured it was a good opportunity to bring Comet out for a local game. That and if people showed up in costume they would get free air fills. "Whoopie." I would have preferred free entry fee, but I'm weird that way.

Anyhow, I got there a little late, too late to get a picture of the guy in the kids superman outfit. But I ran into a 'net guy (who's name I forget offhand... I'm absolutely going to kick myself when I remember... I really should write these things down when 'm tired and undergoing sleep deprivation...) who brought a lot of his buddies. The costumes were sparse, but there were a few of us. I grabbed my Piranha and chronied in... at 250 FPS. Field speed was 275 (which was summarily ignored)

The event was "Scenario Games", meaning a different look at the games than the norm. The one game that sticks out in my mind is the "Pumpkin Flag" game in which instead of flags we had pumpkins we had to get to the other side of the field. I was having a field day! Off the break I got one guy, then another, then another... Not bad for a deer shooting the only pump gun within miles. We won that game, I conned someone else into bringing the pumpkin up the hill to the victory.

The humidity was bad in the woods. My CV's were handling it well. I felt bad for the guys with single pane lenses. I only played half the day as Comet. I didn't think it would take more than a game or two in it's state of disrepair. I switched in the lot into a different suit, and a different attitude.

I won't stop wearing Comet, but I'm going to have to get off my keister and actually make the new suit with the material I have at Mary's house. I have all winter to do it now, so it'll look good.

Suit up!
A few of the other folks who showd up in costume, I like the whiskers! Anyhow, I just wish every day could be Halloween. (MMM Bop Bop)
